I think you should do is not buy a ‘thing’ but i really think you should take him somewhere or do something that you did when you first were together. Its really meaningful to do something that you can put thought into..anyone can just buy something. Just think hard 
a little romance goes a long way..if all fails go to a nice dinner or make a nice dinner
