Can an Army Reserves NCO and junior enlisted soldier get married?

If theres an NCO and a junior enlisted soldier wanting to marry in the same platoon. Although they are in different sections. I’ve heard different things like one of them will have to transfer than marry and others that they would have to wait till they were both NCO’s. I just want a clear answer. If it helps they were dating before the senior ranking one became an NCO. I’ve tried looking for the regulation on this, but maybe I just dont see it.

You aren’t seeing it. It’s AR 600-20, Army Command Policy. If two reserve Soldiers relationship exists primarily due to civilian life, it is not in violation. Also, the only way a lower enlisted and NCO are considering “fraternizing” with regards to sexual relationships is IF the NCO is in the Soldier’s direct CoC. Since the ONLY NCO in a Soldier’s CoC is the SQD LDR (all others are NCO Support Channel), this wouldn’t apply. Congrats!
