good ideas for a first date?
tomorrow i am going to ask a girl out, lets call her K. K likes skateboarding, movies, guitar hero, horseback riding, and books. what are some good ideas for a first date? I am gonna ask her out for this saturday.I am in Athens Georgia.
Also- we are in high school
Clasic first date for a high school couple: Take her out to a movie.
Just got up to her and say: “K, I really like you. Do you want to catch a movie with me this weekend?”
Let her select the movie, but insist on buying her ticket. Offer to get her anything from the snack stand. If she declines, get a popcorn anyway and make sure its always in reach for her. DO NOT FAKE A YAWN DURING THE MOVIE SO YOU CAN PUT YOUR ARM AROUNG HER. Don’t ask her either. If she wants you to, she’ll start getting closer and leaning on you and you’ll know if its the right move to just go for it.
After the movie, you may want to take her to a place to eat. Not an upscale restarunt, but not fastfood either. You want something with a wait staff, menus, inexpensive but not cheap, and an atmosphere where you can just talk. I’m from Jersey, so my first pick is a dinner, try for something like that.
VERY IMPORTANT: converse with her!!! Don’t interview her, try to get her to talk about her self. And don’t go on about yourself either. Think conversation that makes time fly fast, not questions to kill time.
Lastly, when you drop her off home, get out and open the door for her. Walk her to the door. You can tell if she’s interested by what she say. If she said that she had a good time, say that you did too. It means she had fun, but may not have decided that you’re her boyfriend yet. Don’t worry, there’s still hope for another date. … If she says that she had a good time with you, respond by telling her that you really like being with her. She probally likes you and probally wants to be your girlfriend, good job but wait for another date to ask her.
If you want to know if you should go for the kiss, read what her body says. If shes in a rush to go in, don’t go for it. If it seems that she wants to stay out with you and is kinda moving closer to you, go for it, but keep reading her. A peck on the lips is probally the safest bet, but go along with her if she openes her mouth. If she turns her head so its on the cheek, fine still hope for a second date.
