I’ve been meeting people online for about 5 years maybe. I havent had any bad experiences so far. I’ve met so many people I’ve stopped counting lol but probably somewhere around 30. The type of relationship that I’ve had with the person also ranges from just friends.. to cut friends… to boyfriends.. to best friends. I’ve been doing it for so long I almost feel like an online dating guru lol. Im coming out with site soon! lol
It’s a sign of the times. I think it’s awesome, and fun. However there should be guidelines. Like meet people in a public place, talk to them over the phone first and so on. I’ve met around the same amount as you, maybe more with the same results.
Online dating cuts straight to the chase. There is no going to a club/bar/cofee shop and wondering if a girls single/into you. If you message someone and they write back…usually a good sign. If you don’t get a response, they probably aren’t feeling you.
We are all busy these days, and barely have time to eat. I think Online dating is a godsend for busy people. It’s horrible to get set up on a blind date, to find the date is …not your type. You just wasted valuable time, money (if you’re a man paying for the date), and emotions (I’ve gotten my hopes up, just to see a girl 2x bigger than me).
