Should young Christians date?
i know a lot of Christians who think that dating is wrong and that two people should enter a courtship instead. what exactly does that mean? is it like friendship aimed at marriage? i have a girlfriend now–but i wouldn’t say we’re “dating.” though we’re both still in high school we’re seriously looking at marriage as a real possibility down the road. we don’t date other people and we’re both very serious. is that what a courtship is?
i’m just a little confused….
Sure young Christians should date. This is all part of the “mating game”. You need to date to get to know each other. In my opinion, it is best to date more than one person.
My Father tells me, “People are like ice cream, they come in all flavors. You may think strawberry is the very best. You will never know for sure unless you try other flavors.”
