for you ladies on the issue of dating short men, is a good looking man with a good build at 5ft 6 too short?
if a guy is quite good looking, toned and has an athletic body with some good muscle aswell but hes about 5ft 6.5 tall, is he still too short for you? i understand the whole feeling protected thing for women with taller guys but is that really true? even if the smaller guy has a far better build? research even shows shorter people tend to out-live taller people cos the heart doesnt need to work as hard for a smaller body, isnt that a better reason to go for guys on the shorter side than a tall guy for protection? i mean chances are you not ganna need major protection but if a shorter guy passes shorter – average in height genes to your kids than chances are they will outlive their taller peers. isnt that more important? what are your opinions taking into account my arguements?
think it depends on the girl. how tall they are etc. Although some tall girls have no problem dating someone shorter than them either. I’m only 5′2 so I don’t like dating tall guys. However, I usually wear about 3 inch heels most the time so aslong as the guy is taller than me when I have them on its all good. So yeh. 5′6 – 5′10 is good for me. 
6 foot and over is too tall. It’s a personal thing tho.
