What to do to keep my boyfriend in a long term relationship? I know he loves me.?
My boyfriend recently tried to break up with me because he loves me and feels unworthy of me. He said “I am a dropout of a third rate university and am bad looking; you are good looking and Ivy League educated.” He said he is in a bad situation, he is not making decent income, doesn’t have a proper job, not living properly. He said I get nothing out of the relationship, I don’t gain anything from dating him. I said that if he loves me, we should compromise. We decided to compromise, no phone calls, only e-mails, for a while (we’re in a long distance reln). He has a mental illness and hates the phone. What should I do to keep him in a long term relationship, and eventually marry him? I thought I could answer his e-mails less frequently to show that I’m a bit upset with him, and to make him miss me and keep the mystery. What do you think? I would really appreciate your opinions on what to do to keep him in love with me. Please don’t say he doesn’t love me; I know he does
