My bf is legally separated, now his wife wants counselling!?
She moved out 6 months ago, went to live with her parents, and asked him for a legal separation. They were not together at all during this time. We have been dating for about 2 months. Now that she found out about me, she is asking him to go to counseling. He works out of town during the week. She takes care of their 2 dogs while he is away, then leaves before he gets home. If she was so interested in being with him, why wouldn’t she stay with him on the weekends when he is home, or at least visit? He asked for counseling 6 months ago when she left, and she refused. I don’t know what to do. I really don’t think he will go back, because he was unhappy, but there’s always that possibility. We are very well matched in many ways, and have been happy. Comments appreciated.
You should step back and offer him to walk away from you guilt free. Let him go try the counselling, if it doesnt work then he call you. At least then you will know that he’s with you because he wants to be and he can love you with no “what If Maybe” running through his head. I wish you all the best and hope it all works out for you.
