It saying fishing season begins April 25.
What if I go fishing before that date.
depends whether or not it’s a legal fishing season where it is not allowed before that date or whether it is just a general idea of when people get ready to start.
is sounds rather like the season is closed and fishing is not allowed prior to that date.
it is probably to assure the fish time to spawn unmolested.
