What happens if they cant find you?
I am adopting a little boy and his court date came in registered mail today BUT his previous legal guardian was abusive to him and will get the same letter and I do not want her to come for obvious reasons. I know for a fact she has moved and not left a forwarding address. What will happen to her letter ours came to our house with the postman and we had to sign for it. What will happen to hers? If they cannot find her will she just not get it? I am hoping she does not show up anyway he saw an old babysitteer and went beserk because of the memories. He is not coming but may have a hard time being civil knowing what she did to him. It is unforgivable.
He will be 3 soon and I am trying to find out wether he has to be there or not. I hope not.
If she left no forwarding address, it will simply be “Returned to Sender – No forwarding address”. I don’t know how old the little boy is but I wish you the best of luck and congratulate you on being brave enough to help make the world a better place.
