Has a military coup begun in Pakistan?
There are apparently rumors floating around D.C. that a military coup is underway in Pakistan. According to google trends, it is the #1 search online right now, with most of those searches coming out of D.C.

If this is true, what implications does it have to our foreign policy? And why would this occur?
That’s how they change head of state over there.
We have elections.
Coups have happened many, many times over there in that country.
I would imagine that our state department even has contingency plans for them….
