what is the amount of time allowed for a roommate to ask you to vacate the residence?
I am a roommate at a friends house with no lease agreement. I am up to date on my rent for the month. We are to be out of the house by the end of the month due to the owner is moving. Last night he got upset and told me I had 2 days to vacate the premises. Can he legally do that? If not what is Texas state law on the number of days he has to give me notice? If anyone has a web address with this law could you send it to me? Thanks
