Are popular girls nicer than the “wannabe populars”?
My friends Ali, Holly, and Linda are one of the popular girls in the freshman class and they’re really nice. They don’t go around acting popular and trying hard to impress the popular people. I’m not really popular, but I’m just in it for the association. Anyways, this girl, Mia, is dating my ex-friend, Greg. And since Greg is popular, Mia and her friends assume they’re popular. They’re acting like brats and laugh when the popular guys aren’t even being funny. Especially Mia. She wasn’t popular before, but now she’s acting all popular and expects everyone to like her. Well, I don’t like Mia and her friends, and Mia is like totally spazing out because I don’t like her. Greg mad and now doesn’t want to be my best friend anymore. But Mia and her friends are jerks. They are so annoying how they’re all smiley and think they’re Miss Popular, just because Mia is dating Greg who was already popular. How come it seems like the REAL popular girls are nicer than the wannabes?
Well first off if Greg was a real friend he wouldn’t let something so silly come between you two. So ditch him and wait for him to come back and miss what he jeopardized. Wannabees have to act fake in order to be popular and fit in especially since they aren’t popular by peer choice they are only popular because of her boyfriend. They will look stupid if they act like themselves and won’t be able to fit it. They are insecure and that sucks for them.
