Well me and my bf of 4 years recently broke up..i broke up with him.
Well while we were dating i sent like two pictures of myself in underwear cause i really trusted him.
Well just recently he made a myspace of my and posted those pictures everywhere. the very personal ones. He made a fake profile of me saying that all il iked was sex and he gave out my number.
He then added anyone he could find and all of his and my friends!
i feel so betrayed i thought i knew him.
my freinds and ppl i dont even know have been texting me call ing me terrible names and questioning it. my real freinds are by me but what should i do? he wont delete it and wont comprimise.
it has really hurt me and i ve been crying! help
First of all, I hope this is a cautionary tale for all those out there that think that taking pictures, videos, etc. is a good idea. I am sorry that this happened to you. As far as I know, you should be able to contact myspace and inform them of the abuse. If that doesn’t work, I would consider hiring a lawyer and having them write a cease & desist, or discuss a civil complaint. In the end, if I were you, I would stop crying and start fighting. You can’t unring the bell, but you can perhaps make it inconvenient enough for him that it is in his interest to remove the page. In the end, this is probably about control to him. As long as he knows that the page is up and you are upset, he is in charge. Stop being upset, and give him something to lose, and being in charge will not be as entertaining as it once was.
Respectfully, you really need to be a little bit smarter next time. Trust or not, it is never a good idea to take a picture of yourself that you wouldn’t want the world to see, because once it leaves your hands, you have no say. You can never be 100% sure of where it is or where it will be. That alone should be enough to keep you from doing something like this. In general, never write it down if you can whisper, never whisper if you can nod, and never nod if you can wink. Good luck.
